UTS College Bangladesh – Premier University Joint Program March 2026 Intake Orientation.
The orientation program for the March 2026 intake of the UTS College Bangladesh–Premier University joint program was held on Saturday, 28 March 2026. The event took place at the Central Auditorium of Premier University, Dampara, Chattogram. Out of 48 newly admitted students, 43 attended the program along with their guardians, marking a strong and promising beginning to their academic journey.
The program was presided over by Ms. Farzana Yesmin Chowdhury, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Social Science at Premier University and Academic Manager of the PUC-UTS Program. Distinguished representatives from UTS College and Premier University joined both online and in person to deliver insightful and guidance-oriented speeches to the students.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor of Premier University, Professor S.M. Nasrul Quadir, stated in his speech that Premier University is always committed to ensuring international standard education. He added that this joint initiative with UTS College will provide students with a world-class academic experience.
The Treasurer of Premier University, Professor Dr. Zahed Husain Sikder, mentioned that such international collaborations play a vital role in enhancing the quality of education. He expressed confidence that this program will significantly contribute to shaping students’ futures.
Mr. Peter Harris, Executive Director of UTS College, Australia, stated that Bangladeshi students possess remarkable potential in international education. Through UTS College, they are committed to helping students reach global platforms. He added that this partnership will open new horizons for students.
The Registrar of Premier University, Mr. Mohammad Iftekhar Monir, emphasized that orientation programs serve as an important starting point for students, helping them gain a clear understanding of their academic journey and begin with confidence.
Dr. Arif Jubaer, Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Education and Research Institute (BERI), stated that their goal is to provide students with a platform where they can not only earn degrees but also develop global competencies and leadership skills. He described this program as a significant step toward achieving that goal.
